Health has been given the first priority by CHETNA, and we are committed to foster better lifestyle for the people of the rural areas by implementing various strategies related to health and sanitation.
Differences in health care and health outcomes exist across social, economic, and group categories, including race and ethnicity, class, place, disability, age, language, and sexual orientation. Health disparities are persistent, systematic differences in health care and outcomes arising from complex interactions among biological, social, cultural, economic, environmental, and behavioral factors. CHETNA works relentlessly to ensure that they are creating improved health outcomes for greater health equity. We do this by assessing and building the capacity of providers and programs to provide culturally and linguistically appropriate care, creating new models of health promotion and education, conducting participatory strategic planning to address disparities, and redesigning delivery of care and health finance models to focus on reducing disparities.
