Unemployment related to poverty is one of the major problem that is faced by modern india. CHETNA is an organization which by itself and by the help of community based help group plays the role of facilitators in encouraging participatory approach in empowering the people in generating income based projects. CHETNA provides training to the villagers to help them generate their own livelihood and thus be self reliant.

 

PROGRAMMES

 

    1. Sewing machine distribution among the village women to make them financially independent to sustain their family.
    2. CHETNA and SHRISTI SAMAJ established Sewing center in collaboration with USHA INTERNATIONAL, to train the village female folk to make their livelihood.
    3. Arranging for employment for DCA passed candidates in different organizations.
    4. The mango grove of CHETNA generates both direct and indirect employment.
 

Sports to be organised in different villagers.



Computer classes to be organised.



Health awareness programme.



Moral value awarness programme.



Talented students of nearby High Schools to be rewarded.



Libraries of different villages to be facilitated with books,accessories.



Cultural program to be organized in different villages.



20 Nos sewing machines to be distributed among village women for their livelihood.



Awareness programs for villagers on continual basis.
